The Pub Olympics is similar to the Pub Games Night and is a series of ‘Olympic events’, with a twist! They are fun and ‘challenging’ events aimed at providing entertaining and interactive games. No physical or sporting ability is required to participate, just a sense of fun!
You will work in teams (nations) so there will be competitive edge! The bar will be open so the games should be more entertaining as the evening progresses!! Examples of the events are Javelin, The Olympian, Curling etc – all done in the comfort of the pub!
These can be run either as a competition or just as an informal ‘play as you please’ event.
Although the event is called Pub Olympics, it doesn’t have to be in a pub and can be run ‘dry’ if alcohol isn’t appropriate for the event or participants

Variations:
Generally these last around 2 - 3 hours as a one off social event but the duration can be flexible. We can also be run these on a regular basis as a tournament

These are great for social events, fundraising and as a way to finish a business day such as a planning or training day, which helps team bonding.
You need at least 15 – 20 to create a good atmosphere. The upper number is only dependant on the venue.
