This weekend incorporates two classics – A day at Ascot Races and the lovely Royal town of Windsor
Ascot Racecourse is a great day out whether you want a social day with the team, a family day with the team or you may want to reward staff or clients. We can supply a wide range of packages ranging from simple entrance tickets to meal and drinks inclusive deals right up to a private box and full entertainment packages. Whichever package you choose one of our event managers will be on hand to ensure the day runs smoothly.
Windsor is a great town in its own right. We can arrange an itinerary of activities such as a Treasure Hunt, a tour of Windsor Castle, a guided walk around the Town, a trip around Eton to name a few. An alternative could be a walk exploring the vast Windsor parks.
We can use a selection of hotels either in or around Windsor depending on your budget. One of our favorites is the lovely Best Western hotel in the centre of Windsor, a short walk to Windsor Castle and Windsor parks.
Meet on the Friday evening We can either eat out in Windsor or at the hotel.
On Saturday we will have a day at Ascot races. Whilst we can organise this during Royal Ascot week, you may prefer to visit one of the other meetings…
The Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup with 80 Concert
Summer Cocktail Party
Fireworks Spectacular
Beer Festivals
Family Fun Days etc
Some see these meetings as better than Royal Ascot; Ok Liz won’t be there but neither will the massive crowds or the formal dress code.
On Sunday you have the choice of discovering Windsor and the Castle. There are a number of activities we can include in your itinerary, or maybe a guided walk in the Windsor parks, the biggest being The Great Park; which is a gently undulating area of varied landscape. It has sweeping deer lawns, small woods, coverts and areas covered by huge solitary ancient oak trees and is home to a herd of semi wild deer, reflecting the original medieval purpose of the park.
One of the best views has to be from Snow Hill looking down “The long walk” which has a stunning view of Windsor Castle.
